Behold the Immaculate Germination

Turns out I'm an amazing gardener. I show up to check on the garden this morning and I have grown a couple cucumbers from a lettuce seed.

I even managed to get an artichoke to grow from nothing.

Pretty unbelievable, huh?

Welcome to my humble gardening blog. Be forewarned, I am by no means an expert. But I did grow up in North Carolina with a 275-acre farm, so surely I gleaned something along the way. Plus I'm not afraid to publicly fail every now and then. It seems like that's when you learn the most anyway.

I started this blog because I'm the new copywriter on one of my agency's food clients - Seeds of Change. When I get a new client I like to really explore their product and get as involved as I can. Sort of method creative, I suppose. Admittedly, this technique is easier said than done with some clients. But I think with a bit of sweat and research this client is going to prove to be a lot of fun.

As I said before I'm not a gardening expert, but my grow-to-kill ratio is better than most. By following this blog you'll be experiencing gardening right alongside a guy who kinda sorta knows what he's doing. And for my money "kinda sorta" is usually a lot more interesting than "most definitely".
